Cosby and I fished the Watauga on the second day of his trip. We started in the morning in one stetch and man did we catch some fish. Cosby landed probably 30 fish before lunch. He had a Slam in the first hole that we fish (Brook, Brown and Rainbow Trout). We got to the top of the stetch and was getting ready to stop for lunch when Cosby hooked an landed a nice 14″ Rainbow. After lunch we headed down stream to give us more time before the water came up. The fishing was a little tougher then the it was in the morning but we managed to get a few to hand including a nice 17″ Rainbow. We also watched and fished to a Big Brown that was just cruising around. A couple of time he swam within three or four feet of us. Man was he a big fish.
