I meet up with Rod and Murry at the shop for a half day of wading on the South Holston River. Rod was a pretty experience while Murry had just picked up flyfishing. So I got Rod set up and let me start working the water while I worked with Murry on her casting. Murry picked up casting very quickly and was getting hit but no hook ups. So after working with her on setting the hook she finally locked in to a fish. She had to much slack in the line so the fish popped loss. After working with her on hooking, fighting and landing a trout on a flyrod I moved up stream to help Rod out. While I was up working with Rod I heard Murry yell she had a fish on. So I moved back down to help her with the fish it was a nice 12″ Rainbow.

After fish a little while longer we moved downstream to another section of river. Rod caught a nice Rainbow right off the bat while Murry fished the head of the run. I worked with Murry on mending and line controll in the faster water then move down to were Rod was. I got down to were he was and Rod caught a nice pretty Brown trout. We looked up and Murry had another fish on so we move up to see what she had. It was a pretty little Rainbow. After that we decide to call it a day.

It was a great day on the water with Rod and Murry.
