Dustin Bunch from Cleveland, TN met up with me here at the shop for a day of wade fishing on the South Holston River. Dustin is a experienced flyfisherman. After getting wadered up here in the shop we headed down to the river. We got to the river and Dustin hooked up with a nice brown right away. Then his second fish was a Big 25″ Buck Brown Trout. After a couple of pictures, we watched him swim away. Dustin kept hooking up on fish and then  hooked into another Big 22″ hen Brown Trout.

We got cold and  decided to break for lunch. After lunch and a quick tour of the river we headed back fishing.Dustin kept hooking up all afternoon. After a couple of quick runs back up  to the shop to get warm, Dustin landed another nice 21″ Brown Trout. The sun started to set on us so we called it a day.

The weather was tough on us, but man did the fish hit. The high for today was 25 degrees but I dont think that it ever made it that high. It snowed and the wind blow all day long. We stayed warm, but everything else was frozen. There was even ice on the water edges.

I really enjoyed fishing with Dustin. It was a great day on the water.
