Ron Thomas and his Son came up to fish the South Holston River with me on Friday. Ron is a part time Guide for Unicoi Outfitters. We started out and were into fish right away. We were into a good many fish they were just all small Rainbows,  but the fish were hitting. We decided to go eat lunch after a good lunch we headed to another section of river to see if we could get into some bigger fish. We got into fish as soon as we got in the water. We were catching fish on dries and droppers. We were able to hook into some really nice Browns and Rainbows. We headed upstream to see if we couldnt fined some Sulphurs, but we never saw any. We were able to catch several fish on Split Case nymphs, but we didnt see any bugs coming off.

I had a get time fishing with these guys, and hope to fish with them again. We were able to catch fish at every spot that we tried.
