Jerry Milhorn and Jerry came to fish with me on the South Holston River. Jerry Milhorn is Houston, TX and Jerry is from Shelby, NC. Jerry Milhorn had fished the river several time, but Jerry had never fished the river. We headed downstream to see if we could get into any Sulphur, but the Sulphur had not started yet. We were able to catch fish on nymphs in the runs. We also had several fish come up and take the Sulphur dry off the top which is a good sign. After lunch we headed upstream, and got into fish. We were fishing Midges and the fish were really eating them. We caught a lot of nice Rainbows on the Midges. We had a great day on the water even though it rained on us all afternoon.
