I meet up with Allen and Bob at the boat ramp on the Watauga River in East Tennessee. We got the boat in the water and headed off downstream. We started catching fish as soon as we got in the water, and the fishing never really slowed down all day. The fish were really eating nymphs well and Allen was the first to hook into a big fish. After a good long battle we got the 18″ Rainbow to the net. After lunch the fish continued to hit the nymphs we were fishing. Then Bob hooked into a Big Rainbow, and after a good hard fight we got the 19″ Rainbow to the net. We called it a day after the water came up on us. Man it was a great day on the Watauga River. The fish were really feeding well, and we landed two big Rainbows.
