After working in the Shop all day I decide around 5pm to run down to the river and fish a little while. It was pretty cold that evening and I was able to found a few fish that were willing to hit. Around dark pretty much everyone was gone from the river expect a me and David. So we decided to fish a little past sunset just to see if either one of us could hook into a big fish. Well it started to get dark and colder when I had a hit, and I could feel the weight on the other end of my line. I told David that I had a good fish on, and he came down to help me out. After a few long runs and a good fight I got the Big Brown in. David help me land the Big Girl and we took a couple of pictures of her then watched her swim away. She measured 28″ long and had a 17.75″ girth. She was a heavy fish. What a river were you can run down for a couple hours after work and caught a beautiful fish like this one. Not a bad way to spend the last hours of day light.

Steve Horgan from Cincinnati, OH came down to fish with me a couple of days. On Monday we had cold rain showers off and on during the day. We had to started out fishing downstream, because of the schedule get some fishing in the morning. The fishing was a little slow in the morning, but we did manage to catch a few fish include Steve’s best Brown ever, 20″. Then we stopped for lunch, and tried to catch some falling water. When the water dropped we had good fishing in the afternoon. During the afternoon fishing Steve caught his biggest fish ever a monster 28.5″ Brown Trout. We caught fish all afternoon untill late in the afternoon we things slowed down.

I had a great time fishing with Steve again, and hope to do it again next year.
