South Holston River Fly Fishing Shop and Champion Outfitters offer Guided Fly Fishing Trips in East Tennessee on the South Holston and Watauga Rivers.  We offer both Float and Wade Trips to suit our client’s needs. The South Holston River has WORLD CLASS DRY Fly Fishing; All summer and winter long. It is widely known for it’s daily SULPHUR and BWO Hatches.

Let us custom design your next fishing trip. Full day, half day, multi-day trips available. Either wading trips or float trips to fit your fishing adventure, from beginners to experts, fishing with Champion Outfitters guide services will improve your fishing skills.

Float Trips

We use a 14′ NRS Sport Raft equipped with a custom fishing frame, with bow and stern casting platforms. Two seats are highly elevated for increased visibility and better presentation, and an anchor system allows us to remain still to target specific areas of the water. The raft has plenty of room to accommodate two anglers for a full, comfortable day on the water.

Waders and/or Boots are available for trips at a rate of $10.00 per day, per person.

Requirements

For trout trips, anglers must have a fresh water fishing license and trout stamp. For small mouth bass excursions, anglers must have a fresh water fishing license. These can be obtained at your local sporting goods store, Wal-Mart, or online by visiting the State Wildlife websites on the right.

Gratuities

Gratuities are not included in the trip rates. Gratuities are based on what you and your group would like to give your Guide as a Tip.
