It’s a great time to fish East Tennessee!  We are seeing good Sulphur hatches on high and low water South Holston. Fish are not picky and eating #16 CDC Comparadun or Puffy. Early morning bite is good around Osceola and the grates. #20-22 Non bead Split case and Stripper Midge are catching fish. Terrestrials and Jigs are working on middle and lower sections #16 Chubby Black & Tan with #18 Olive Perdigon is perfect set up.

Watauga will be running Recreation schedule till the end of summer. This is good for morning wade and afternoon float. We are seeing light Sulphur hatches all day. #18 Parachute Sulphur and yellow soft hackles work. Terrestrial with Frenchie Jig is good nymph rig on all sections. We are seeing a good mix of Sulphur and BWO on high water from Boat house to Lovers after 5:00.

Our guides are primarily fishing South Holston River. We are seeing good numbers on high and low water. All fisheries are fishing really good. This is a great opportunity to fish Dry Flies all day!
