Its a great time for dry fly fisherman on the South Holston! We are having daily Sulphur hatches on high and low water. TVA has started a afternoon float schedule. (Half wade & half float trips available during this time) Fish are looking up and terrestrials are fishing good. Keep an eye out for fish eating beetles under trees. Chernobyl ants, crickets, Kiwi and Japanese beetles in stock. Summertime is a great time for throwing mouse patterns. We are starting night trips this weekend. Great Sulphur hatches on the upper sections of both rivers. Fish are picky so small bugs are key. We still have good AM wade schedules and not too crowded. Our guides are doing well on both rivers. Low water Soho produced a few big fish for Middle Tennessee Fly Fishers annual trip. Shop is stocked and guides are available. GO FISH!

Welcome Summer! Great Sulphur Hatches on South Holston on low and high water. The upper Watauga has had huge Sulphur hatch last two days. Cicada bite has slowed down but not completely done.

Weir repair is finished on Soho. Good Sulphur hatch on upper river and seeing spinners at dark.

Watauga has heavy boat traffic but still fishing good. Sulphur hatch mid morning and early afternoon.  Cicada patterns are catching fish on sunny days in the Trophy Section!

Soho Wier repair has low flows on South Holston. Fish are looking up, small Puff Daddys and light tippet are key. Heavy traffic on Watauga but our guides are grinding it out and producing quality fish!

Variable water flows has us fishing on both rivers. Jig patterns and midges are are fishing well on both rivers.

High water on the Soho is still fishing good! Heavy boat traffic does not seen to effect the bite …
